SAP EDI Consultant

Responsibilities:

EDI technical stewardship

EDI Configuration and propose message types for any new message types if needed

EDI Technical extension required and advise on standard best practices

Support EDI Data mapping

Develop the detailed technical specs for the maps

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and understand customer integration needs

Collaborate with IBM to manage/coordinate the mapping changes with proper test plan

Test EDI maps, transformations, and workflows within the SAP system

Identify and resolve any issues or errors related to EDI data transmission and integration

Provide ongoing support and maintenance for EDI processes, ensuring continuous system optimization

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, track leader, and business analysts, to ensure successful migration of current EDI integration from SAP ECC to SAP S4

Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices related to SAP EDI Integration

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an EDI Consultant, with a focus on SAP EDI Integration in Customer process (EDI map 850, 855, 856 and 810)

Working knowledge of the Logistics/3PL messages required.

Strong knowledge of EDI standards, protocols, and communication methods (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT, AS2, FTP)

Expertise in configuring EDI messages within the SAP system

Proficient in SAP OTC cash process to run thru the testing scenarios (Sales Order Intake, POA, ASN and Invoice)

Familiarity with SAP IDoc, RFC, and BAPI interfaces

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
