IT Systems Administrator & Systems Implementation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a versatile IT professional to fill the role of IT Systems Administrator & Systems Implementation Specialist. This position combines the responsibilities of managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure with expertise in planning, deploying, and maintaining IT systems and solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and administer our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services.
2. Plan and execute the implementation of IT systems and solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
3. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
4. Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software, including operating systems and applications.
5. Deploy and configure software applications, servers, and networking components as part of system implementations.
6. Implement and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, and VPC, ensuring optimal performance and security.
7. Configure and manage virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
8. Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
9. Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to plan and implement IT projects and upgrades.
10. Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for reference purposes.
11. Conduct system testing and quality assurance to validate functionality, performance, and security.
12. Coordinate with vendors and external partners to procure hardware, software, and services as needed.
13. Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and applications.
14. Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in IT systems administration and system implementation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in IT systems administration and system implementation roles.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC, Security) and proficiency in managing Windows and Linux server environments.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, organization, and prioritization.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Project Management Professional) preferred.
• Experience with CRM systems or other business software platforms is a plus.
