Description:

Our client is looking for an Application Support Specialist to respond to and resolve technological issues for staff. The primary function of the role is to support staff with their technology needs.

Tasks

  • Assist with implementation of the client's e-File application, and help end users navigate learning and using the system post-go-live.
  • Interface with client IT team on incidents and problems that need higher level technical support.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Ability to learn client e-Filing application, and other client specific line of business technologies, with the aim of supporting business users in their day-to-day use of the system.

Environment: Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, JAVS, BIS, MiFile.

 

Skills Required

  • 3-5 years - Experience resolving technical issues
  • 3-5 years - Experience supporting users
  • 3-5 years - Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Visio
  • 3-5 years - Experience with Adobe Acrobat
     

    Skills Desired

  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Experience with audio/video equipment, preferably JAVS (or similar)
