Job Title: Automation Engineer who will work NIGHT shift
Must-Have Skills:
Experience with having worked on night shift and open to 12-hour shift; PLC/ Robotics/ Automation systems. Life Sciences Manufacturing experience.

Job Summary:
The Automation Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting control systems in an industrial environment. This position is responsible for the design, programming and configuration of DCS systems, PLCs, SCADA, and related software. They will provide technical support to customers, develop technical documents, and participate in project management and project coordination. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for the development and implementation of automation strategies for industrial process control systems. They will be required to have a working knowledge of industrial control systems and be able to communicate effectively with customers, engineers, and other stakeholders. Needs to be comfortable with the night shift work.
Job Description:
As a shift automation engineer, the following are expected to form the overall job description:
- Work on Incident Management, Service request management, Problem management, and Change management areas.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation, presentation, and computer skills. Works in a team-based environment and exchanges technical information with management, technical support personnel, and equipment vendors.
- Execute IQ and OQ for Control Systems Development and Enhancements
- Develop system validation documentation and ensure system validation compliance.
- Manage and update system documentation including SOPs.
- Create and manage application-specific knowledge management.
- Programming of various Control Systems applications and HMIs
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, program, and configure DeltaV systems, PLCs, SCADA and related software.
- Provide technical support to customers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Develop technical documents, including design specifications, user manuals, and operational procedures.
- Develop and implement automation strategies for industrial process control systems.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade existing control systems.
- Participate in project management and project coordination.
- Monitor and analyze system performance.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Utilize best practices, standards, and procedures related to automation systems.
- Maintain and update knowledge of evolving automation technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical, Electrical, Computer Science or Bio-Process Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years relevant automation life science manufacturing experience
