Job Title:  Tricentis/Tosca QTest Test Automation Architect

 

  • Proof of Local Location is required (DL)
  • Hybrid Onsite (they’re specifying No Remote, but maybe some sort of hybrid like 4/1 in the future, but nothing specified – must assume 100% onsite in the meantime.

 

•     Tricentis Tosca certification (e.g., Tricentis Certified Tosca Automation Engineer) is a mandatory.

Job Description - Tricentis QTest Test Automation Architect for the customer’s Digital Transformation Journey. As a Test Automation Architect, you will primarily be responsible for ownership of QTEST/TOSCA configuration and test management activities applications which includes, estimation and analysis of manual test cases, automation of manual test cases, execution of manual and automated test cases / scenarios, working with application development teams, and the Quality Center of Excellence (QCOE) in coordination with your activities.

Responsibilities:                                      

•             Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient test automation frameworks using Tricentis Tosca.

•             Collaborate with stakeholders to define test automation strategies and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.

•             Lead the implementation and execution of automated test suites for functional, regression, and performance testing.

•             Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the test automation team, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.

•             Customize and extend Tricentis Tosca functionalities to meet specific project requirements and enhance test automation capabilities.

•             Integrate Tricentis Tosca with tools (Qtest for Test Management, ADO for Features/User stories) and systems within the software development lifecycle, such as CI/CD pipelines and issue tracking systems.

•             Analyze test results and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement in test coverage and efficiency.

•             Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Tricentis Tosca implementation and test automation processes.

Qualifications:

                Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

•             Minimum 15 + years’ experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance

•             12+ years of experience in test automation, with a focus on Tricentis Tosca.

•             Proven experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks using Tricentis Tosca.

•             Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

•             Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for test automation, such as Selenium, Java, C#, or Python.

•             Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in Agile development teams is mandatory

•             Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

•             Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of leading and mentoring teams.

•             Tricentis Tosca certification (e.g., Tricentis Certified Tosca Automation Engineer) is a mandatory.
