Payment Business Systems Analyst

Qualifications:

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

• Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, preferably with a focus on payment systems or financial services.
  • Experience working with payment platforms, gateways, or processors such as PayPal, Stripe, Visa, MasterCard, or ACH.
  • Familiarity with relevant payment standards (PCI-DSS, EMV) and industry regulations.

• Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in writing clear and concise business and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with SQL and data analysis tools.
  • Understanding of payment processing flows and financial systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and business teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management experience a plus.

• Certifications (optional):

  • CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or similar certifications are a plus.
  • Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
