Business Systems Analysis Non-Mainframe
Key Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document their requirements, processes, and objectives.
-Conduct in-depth analysis of current business processes, systems, and technologies to identify areas for improvement.
-Develop detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and system design documents to guide development and implementation efforts.
-Translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring clear communication between business and IT teams.
-Work closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are aligned with business needs and requirements.
-Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
-Participate in testing and quality assurance efforts to ensure that delivered solutions meet specified requirements.
-Assist in the development of user documentation, training materials, and provide user training as needed.
-Identify potential risks and issues during project implementation and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualification:
-Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role in the insurance industry.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and systems.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with business and technical teams.
-Proficiency in requirement gathering and documentation techniques, such as use cases, user stories, process flows, etc.
-Experience with business process modeling tools and techniques.
-Knowledge of software and system design principles, as well as database concepts.
Proficiency with SQL
