Business Systems Analyst
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field OR
- Four (4) years of job-related work experience OR
- Two (2) years of job-related work experience plus an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Work Experience:
- Four (4) years of IT business analysis experience.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong understanding of concepts related to the supported business unit.
- Basic knowledge of standard industry practices and business unit procedures.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences, including translating complex technical and business concepts across various management levels.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and link IT processes to business objectives.
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
- Ability to read and provide feedback on test plans, test matrices, project plans, and scope/design documents.
Direct experience in healthcare, Medicare, or Medicaid in a Business Systems Analyst role.
Required Software and Tools:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience:
- Proficiency in Visio and Excel.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Licenses and Certifications:
- SAFe Scaled Agile Certification.
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or demonstrated commitment to continuous learning in the Business Analysis field.
