Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Cisco Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cisco networking technologies, particularly with CCNP certification and hands-on experience working with various Cisco gear, including newer switches, Nexus switches, Cisco Prime, and Cisco Catalyst Center. As a Cisco Network Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage Cisco network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
  • Perform network configuration and troubleshooting to resolve complex network issues and ensure smooth operation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Monitor network performance and capacity to identify and address potential bottlenecks or issues proactively.
  • Configure and maintain Cisco Prime and Cisco Catalyst Center for network management and monitoring.
  • Stay updated on the latest Cisco technologies and best practices to continuously improve network infrastructure.
  • Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to maintain accurate network documentation.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and assist with their professional development.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network emergencies or incidents promptly.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of relative experience
  • CCNP and CCIE certification is a plus.
  • F5 experience and understanding is a nice to have
  • SD Wan experience
  • NetScaler is a good to have but not required
  • Proven experience working with Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Hands-on experience with newer Cisco switches and Nexus switches.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco Prime and Cisco Catalyst Center.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex network issues.
  • Experience with network security technologies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
