Cisco Inside Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Provide remote technical support and guidance to clients, assisting with design and validation of Cisco enterprise solutions.
- Utilize expertise in Cisco technologies, including Routing/Switching, Security, and Collaboration, to address client needs and ensure successful implementation.
- Proficiently use Cisco tools, such as Cisco CCW, for accurate quoting and configuration of solutions.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical requirements or gaps in proposed designs, offering effective solutions and alternatives.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients via phone and email, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of technical inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification (or equivalent demonstrated knowledge).
- Strong understanding and experience with Cisco enterprise technologies, specifically Routing/Switching, Security, and Collaboration.
- Proven ability to provide remote technical support and design validation for Cisco solutions.
- Proficiency in using Cisco CCW and other relevant configuration tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address technical challenges.
- Exceptional phone and email communication skills, with a focus on client engagement and satisfaction.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience in a customer-facing technical support or engineering role.
- Knowledge of scripting and automation for network configuration and management.
- Familiarity with cloud networking and hybrid cloud environments.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
