DBA
The ideal candidate will have both legacy on-premise skills for DB2 and SQL, as well as modern skills for AWS Cloud, including Snowflake and Oracle. This role requires hands-on experience in creating databases, managing functional roles, and addressing performance issues in AWS Snowflake. Experience with DB2 and Oracle DBA is essential, and additional experience with platforms like Postgres, MSSQL, and DocumentDB.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain DB2 and SQL databases on-premise.
- Develop and administer databases on AWS Cloud, particularly Snowflake.
- Create and manage databases, functional roles, and address performance issues in AWS Snowflake.
- Support and maintain Oracle databases.
- Utilize experience with additional platforms such as Postgres, MSSQL, and DocumentDB as needed.
- Ensure database security, integrity, and availability.
- Perform database tuning, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Snowflake, including database creation, functional roles, and performance management.
- Extensive experience with DB2 and Oracle DBA.
- Proficiency in additional platforms such as Postgres, MSSQL, and DocumentDB
- Strong understanding of database security, integrity, and availability.
- Experience with database tuning, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting.
