Job Description

Role - IT Help Desk Specialist

Onsite || Bolingbrook, IL || Locals of IL ONLY!!

Skills -

Education:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred but not required).

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT support, network management, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN management, network cabling, and IT equipment configuration.
  • Experience with digital signage systems, professional-grade camera equipment, phone systems, and peripheral devices like printers, scanners, and RF guns.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in networking protocols, LAN/WAN infrastructure, and network troubleshooting tools.
  • Strong knowledge of IT hardware, including routers, switches, servers, printers, scanners, RF guns, and phone systems.
  • Familiarity with digital signage software, camera systems, and phone systems related to IT configurations.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move IT equipment, including servers, switches, cabling materials, and peripheral devices.
  • Comfortable working in varied environments, including server rooms and outdoor settings.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to branch locations as needed.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours when necessary.
