Job Description

Job Title - IT Procurement Support Specialist

Experience required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes (DCMR 27, PPRA, FAR).
  • Knowledge of the PASS (Ariba system).
  • Ability to translate technical and/or complicated information into clear, concise documents.
  • Proficiency in proofreading documents for accuracy.
  • Ability to work with technical experts to improve document quality and usability.
  • Knowledge of District and agency policies and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain the internal documentation library and manage special projects and/or vendors.
  • Ability to liaise with District Government Agency Chief Information Officers (CIO's) and IT leads to assist with requirements gathering.
  • Knowledge of OCTO's IT and Telecom Contracts and purchase requests for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.

REquired Skills :

  • Experience in developing and writing requirements for the IT Procurement. | Required | 6
  • Experience in research, outlining, writing end-user documentation for technical user manuals. | Required | 6
  • Experience in participation in writing user's manuals, training materials, proposals and other reports and deliverables. | Required | 6
  • Experience in proofreading documents for accuracy. (i.e SOP's, FAQ's, and MOUs). | Required | 4
  • Experience in developing requirements for IT Service Management. | Required | 4
  • Experience proofreading and editing technical SOW, SOR for IT contracts.
