Job Description

The Lead IT Developer is responsible for providing technical support, configuration, development, and optimization of enterprise-level Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems. The role involves collaborating with implementation teams, managed services, and SaaS providers to enhance system functionalities and ensure ongoing maintenance and support.

Key responsibilities include developing and optimizing workflows, forms, business objects, and reports within the system, utilizing tools such as Data Modeler, Workflow Builder, Query Manager, and Security Manager. The Lead IT Developer will also troubleshoot and resolve system issues, support system migrations and upgrades, and address enhancement requests. Additional duties include performance tuning, report development using BIRT, and ensuring compliance with system security and functional requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in CAFM or similar systems, strong technical expertise, and the ability to interface with diverse teams. Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Requirements: 

  1. Experience with TRIRIGA or Similar Systems:


    • 5+ years of experience in TRIRIGA configuration, development, and CAFM/IWMS systems.

    • Experience with Facility Management, Lease Contract Administration, or Real Estate Administration modules.

    • Familiarity with IBM FileNet Content Manager 

  2.  

    Technical Expertise:

    • Strong knowledge of CAFM system design and conversion activities.

    • Proficiency in configuring workflows, forms, state transitions, and system security.

    • Ability to perform performance tuning and optimize workflows.

    • Experience creating and modifying TRIRIGA reports and queries using BIRT.

    • Familiarity with reading and analyzing system logs and error reports

    System Implementation and Support:


    • Experience with system migrations, upgrades, and module implementations (e.g., Workplace Management, Lease Administration, Space Management).

    • Hands-on experience in a multi-stage system environment.

    Analytical and Troubleshooting Skills:


    • Ability to identify system bottlenecks and recommend performance improvements 

  5.  

    Documentation and Testing:


    • Ability to write technical specification documents, test scripts, and perform unit tests 

  6.  

    SQL Knowledge:


    • Ability to write and update SQL scripts for data extraction and troubleshooting.
       

      Desired Skills/Qualifications:

       
    • Experience in Related Fields:


      • Background in real estate, development, or facility management organizations

    Enhanced Technical Knowledge:


    • Experience tuning WebSphere and setting up multiple instances.

    • Knowledge of data warehouses.

    Additional Functional Skills:

    • Familiarity with documentation and analysis of business processes.

    • Ability to develop and support invoice reports, including time and materials

    • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work effectively.
