Job Title: Java Drools Developer (Drools Rules Engine and AWS)
Overview: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Java Developer with expertise in the Drools Rules Engine and some knowledge of AWS to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, a good understanding of business rules management, and familiarity with cloud computing services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications with a focus on integrating and implementing business rules using the Drools Rules Engine.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve application performance and user experience.
- Implement and manage AWS services to support application development and deployment.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve skills and processes.
- Work with RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Java development.
- 4+ years of experience with the Drools Rules Engine.
- Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda).
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with other business rules engines.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Knowledge of database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
