Kafka Architect
Location: Onsite in Atlanta GA preferred, but any client satellite office will work. Boston, MA, NYC, Irving, TX, Houston, TX, Arlington, VA, Los Angeles, CA. among others.
Must Have Skills:
Kafka Architecture and Technical design
Kafka Clusters configuration and setup expertise
Kafka components, tuning, and stability optimization working with Enterprise Architecture team
Strong Java skills for Kafka integration and troubleshooting
Ability to work independently in collaboration with clients and India teams
Role Details:
Around 8-10 years of experience in different integration technologies, data streaming technologies and Kafka.
Solid understanding of Kafka architecture and experience in designing deployment architecture for Kafka solutions
Manage and handle Kafka clusters effectively, Configure Kafka components related to producers and consumers.
Ensure security configuration and connection handling for Kafka.
Strong knowledge of Kafka ecosystem, Zookeeper, Kafka cluster, Kafka broker, producer, consumer, Connectors, different APIs, Kafka Topic etc.
Ensure optimum performance, high availability and stability of solutions, Ability to perform data related benchmarking, performance analysis and tuning.
Strong hands on designing integration solutions using Kafka and aware of integration best practices for data streaming solutions, strong knowledge on different APIs exposed by Kafka to handle the integrations
Solid hands on Kafka deployment and configuration on cloud, on-prem environments
Good Experience in Java language and systems integrations
Experience on production deployment, invoke Kafka components as background processes, configuration, trouble shooting and environment maintenance.
Collaboration in working with Application Teams, Network Teams, Infra Teams, InfoSEC Teams and India(off-shore) teams
Good Communication skills, consultative skills and presentation skills
