Job Description

Title: Technical Lead

 

Responsibilities

•             Performs Implementation services that may include design, architecture analysis, deployment, troubleshooting, configuration, upgrades, migrations, and network engineering.

•             Assists leadership with strategy and will be involved in developing technical architecture services (e.g., Cisco, Palo, Fortinet - SDWAN, SSE, SASE, etc.)

•             Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert on Customer projects/workshops and be accountable for the project outcomes.

•             Collect, produce, and update deployment and design documentation.

•             Develop, update, and continually improve Network & infrastructure Service offerings.

•             Act as a trusted advisor for our technical teams.

•             Identify, develop, and document best practices/recommendations (people/process/ technology), and assist with strategy & roadmap planning.

•             Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to technical and executive stakeholders through written deliverables and verbal presentations

•             Develop reports, lessons learned, presentations, and supporting documentation.

•             Serve as a coach/mentor and guide other members of the team.

 

Required Skills

•             Proficiency with the design, implementation, and configuration of Cisco networking technologies inclusive of data Center switching, access layer switching, and Access and Identity tools such as Cisco Client.

•             Current Enterprise Cisco Catalyst switches; Cisco ISR/Catalyst routers; Switching and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP); TCP/IP; DNS; VLANs; VPNs; QoS; VXLAN; Underlay and Overlay networks; IPSEC; RADIUS; two-factor and single sign-on authentication.

•             Extensive experience in initiating and leading consultative network projects & initiatives

•             Excellent consultative skills in addressing networking and security challenges.

•             Strong project management skills (scope, schedule, & cost)

•             Excellent written, presentation, whiteboarding, and verbal communication skills

•             Excellent organizational and time management skills

•             Receptive listening skills, with the ability to present ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.

•             Excellent situational leadership and timely decision-making skills

•             Ability to work effectively within all levels of an organization (internally & externally)

•             Ability to work both individually and in a team environment.

•             Must be results-driven with a strong sense of urgency.

•             Attention to detail and follow-up skills are critical.

•             Strong trusted advisor, coaching, & mentorship skills

 

Preferred Skills:

•             Minimum 5+ years' experience in consulting services

•             Cisco (Nexus, Catalyst, Client, wireless)

•             AWS / Azure / Network & Security Knowledge

 

Qualifications

•             Bachelor's, Technical degree, or related work experience (Network Engineering / Computer Science)

•             Minimum 8-10 years of technical experience with increasing responsibility

•             Minimum 5 years of experience consulting, designing, implementing, and integrating Cisco Networking technologies.

 

 Preferred Certifications:

•             Cisco - CCNP or CCIE
