Sr. Network Architect
Network Design and Management: Expertise in network design, management, detailed documentation, testing, problem analysis, and formulating scope and objectives for system changes.
Technical Knowledge and Hands-On Experience:
Cisco ASR/ISR routers (EIGRP, HSRP, OSPF, etc.) and Cisco Catalyst switches.
Cisco Layer 2 protocols and configurations.
Network security best practices.
Determining network requirements, developing designs, selecting equipment, and creating Bills of Materials.
Datacenter experience.
Addressing Layer 2 and physical layer issues in both copper and fiber infrastructures.
TECHNICAL SKILLS Must Have
Demonstrated experience using network monitoring, management, packet analysis tools
Extensive knowledge of Cisco IOS based routers and switches as well as datacenter NX-OS based switches and advanced experience in BGP and IGP routing protocols (EIGRP and OSPF)
Minimum 5 years of experience in Designing, configuring, implementing IP-based infrastructure solutions
Solid understanding of architectural concepts and practices that result in reliable, maintainable, reusable, scalable and extensible solutions
Job locations will vary and include substations, workout locations, and office buildings with various access requirements.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
Required to provide and wear PPE, including a hardhat (no white hardhat), safety boots/shoes, eye/ear protection, and any other PPE required by the location.
Additional Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to lift and rack equipment.
Must provide own transportation.
