Network Operations Engineer
Must Haves: Aruba Routing/Switching (6300/832) | Aruba Wireless Client | Cisco Networks | GlobalProtect VPN | BGP Config/Troubleshooting| Palo Alto Firewalls + | SIEM + | CCNA + |Palo Alto Firewalls | SIEM | CCNA |Aruba ClearPass | Airwave | CCNP | VSF Stacking | IPv4 Addressing
Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Tier 2/3 escalation engineer for Tier 1 help desk support staff
• Provide support for network and wireless related issues
• Resolve assigned incidents
• Work with vendor Technical Assistance Center (TAC) support teams, if required
• Coordinate with Hardware Support (HWS) for any Return Material Authorizations (RMAs)
• Document the resolution in designated repository system
• Enable monitoring of newly added hardware
Essential Qualifications
• Experience with Aruba Network routing and switching (6300/8325)
• 5 years of experience with Aruba wireless client troubleshooting
• 5 years of experience with Cisco Network routing and switching
• 5 years of experience troubleshooting GlobalProtect VPN client systems
• 5 years of experience with BGP configuration and troubleshooting
• Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto)
• Experience working with SIEM
• CCNA certification
• Experience with Aruba ClearPass (including downloadable user roles)
• Experience with Airwave
• CCNP certification
• Expert level understanding of VSF stacking
• Expert level understanding of IPv4 addressing
