Job Description

Job Title: oracle sql / plsql developer

Need local candidate

job summary:

  • 5+ years expereince working with Oracle DBMS (versions 11/12/19) in an application development role. The position requires a ability to program with SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, basic performance tuning, unix/shell scripting, and other related software development support tools.
     
  • Candidate must have a demonstrated ability to support data analysis within large/complex operational systems and a familiarity with relational modeling. Agile development team experience, configuration management skills, and ability to thrive within a collaborative team environment are also highly desired.
     
  • Candidates must possess advanced problem solving skills, the willingness to learn and ability to effectively and concisely communicate verbally and in written/presentation format. You must work well in a supportive and transparent team environment, while having the ability to research and resolve issues independently.

  • Proficiency with Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, Materialized Views, Sequences, DB Objects
     
  • Proficiency with SQL query tuning, partitioning, performance optimization, indexing
     
  • Proficiency with DB schema and table design, logical/physical design, normalization/denormalization
     
  • Ability to analyze various Oracle reports like SQL trace, tkprof , tuning advisor, ADDM etc and suggest improvements
     
  • Experience with Extract-Transform-Load ETL processes
     
  • Experience with Source Control: BitBucket/GIT, Subversion (SVN), Perforce, or similar
     
  • Experience with Agile/Iterative development and full SDLC development

Desired Skills

  • JAVA, DAO, ORM, Spring
