Job Title: Perl Developer 

Required Skills & Experience 

Heavy Linux experience.  

Strong programming skills in Perl, Shell / Korn Shell, Java Scripts  

Experience with writing and testing code, debugging for various projects.  

Familiarity with distributed storage systems like DB2, Sybase / Sybase IQ, MongoDB  

Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines especially using Git Working knowledge of Unix/Linux experience

 Job Description

Client is seeking talented Perl/Shell/JS Programmers to join a leading financial institution across various U.S. locations. This recruitment drive responds to delays in critical projects across multiple engineering teams, necessitating an immediate expansion of the development workforce to ensure timely completion. As a developer within the company, you'll be expected to wear many hats, not only developing code from scratch but also assisting with testing, code reviews, and support. These positions are available in several key offices, including Salt Lake City, Dallas, and London. The ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of Perl/Shell/JS programming experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Consultants are expected to work on-site 5 days per week. This initiative begins with a six-month contract, with strong potential for extensions based on performance and project needs.
