Job Description:

Established client is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer for an ongoing contract opportunity in Lawrenceville, GA. This position will be 100% onsite.

As a Microsoft Power BI Support and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert end-user support for existing Power BI Reports and Dashboards, as well as designing, developing, and maintaining new custom-built data models and reports. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their business intelligence needs, translate requirements into technical tasks, and create coherent and useful reports to meet business objectives. You will also provide direct customer support to assist users with previously deployed reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate will have a proficient understanding of Power BI and experience working with a wide variety of different data sources.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in developing reports with Microsoft Power BI.
• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Report Builder.
• Proficiency using DAX formulas in Power Query.
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, SharePoint, SAP BW, Salesforce, and other data sources.
• Experience writing queries and creating intricate semantic models.
• Familiarity with SSRS and similar reporting tools.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience in Microsoft BI stack with Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS.
• Familiarity with scripting and programming.
• Some knowledge of UI/UX development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Sound logical and analytical reasoning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
