Job Description

Job Title:- PROJECT MANAGER

Candidate must be Local 

Qualifications:-

  • University Degree (high) in a technical subject (f. ex: Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics, etc.)
  • Demonstrable experience of at least 5 years in team, project and decision-making management tasks within its technological perimeter.
  • Typically, secondary/ high school qualified with a relevant technical qualification and at least 4-5 years relevant work experience including some supervisory experience.
  • Service coverage from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Service coverage will be managed globally by team members.
  • Specific knowledge
  • To provide technical know-how and input to more complex issues and will plan and schedule work and supervise a small team on a day to day basis ensuring quality, productivity and system availability objectives are met.

 

MAIN FUNCTIONS AND TASKS

1.            Undertake more complex tasks within the team and provide technical support/ advice to others.

2.            Ensure that all out of line operational issues are escalated in accordance with company technical escalation process.

3.            Monitor adherence to technical and quality standards for own area and ensure full compliance with established procedures.

4.            Ensure the most effective utilisation of resources, planning, scheduling and monitoring the work of the team.

5.            Ensure the delivery of cost effective and quality services in line with our contractual obligations thereby achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.

6.            Review and report on the performance of the team, identifying resource requirements where appropriate.

7.            Communicate relevant information to the team.

8.            Identify and act on opportunities to improve existing processes and work methods, implementing changes as appropriate.

9.            Liaise with key customers, account managers and colleagues, providing technical guidance and advice in support of a customer issue.

10.          Ensure statistical data is maintained and reported to management, field staff and customers as required
