- Associates’ Degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Two years of experience in Automotive or Heavy Duty software development and/or test.
- Working knowledge of SAE J1708 / J1939. Familiarities with on–board diagnostic (OBD) systems and scan tools.
- Knowledge of electronic theory and basic circuit analysis.
- Basic PC skills including operating systems (MS Windows 95, 98, NT), MS Word, Excel, and Access
- Fundamental understanding of automotive and/or heavy duty truck engine, transmission and ABS operation.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Plusses include ASE certification in drivability and/or a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) – both optional.
