Job Description

Firmware QA Engineer

Firmware Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team and assist in validating various product lines, including Collector, Electrical Energy Processor, Battery Energy Processor, and Energy Interface Controller. In this role, you will be responsible for both manual testing and automating manual test cases. You will use existing Robot Firmware along with Python to create and modify test scripts. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and debugging your own test setups.

Responsibilities include:
-Performing manual verification of test steps before automating them
-Integrating automated test scripts with nightly regression build testing system
-Report and track defects and issues found during testing.
-Collaborate with other QA engineers and developers to ensure quality standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • -Experience in both manual and automation testing.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Unix/Linux.
  • Familiarity with networking standards and protocols (IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP, DHCP).
  • Proficiency in Python and/or Linux shell scripting.

  • Exposure to consumer networking hardware (routers, switches, wireless access points) – Good to have.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Experience in both manual and automation testing.
Hands-on knowledge of Unix/Linux.
Familiarity with networking standards and protocols (IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP, DHCP).
Proficiency in Python and/or Linux shell scripting.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Exposure to consumer networking hardware (routers, switches, wireless access points)
