Intermediate Salesforce Developer
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- The Salesforce developer is responsible for collaborating with the EOE/DESE/EEC/DHE Organization, Project Managers, Architect, Business Analysts, and Quality Assurance, in the process of creating software deliverables and artifacts.
- As a member of the team, you must adhere to the organization’s methodologies and standards, and propose improvements based on software development best practices.
- Perform Salesforce admin duties as needed and related integration platforms development support (enhancements, bug fixes)
- Participation in efforts including requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, roll out and documentation creation.
- Participate in regularly scheduled meetings to discuss current tasks and weekly status reports.
Education and Experience Level
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a major in computer science or a related field.
- Proven record of accomplishment working on large-scale projects with diverse stakeholders and with cross-functional teams.
- 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Admin and Developer
- Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce environment with 100+ users.
- Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks.
- Experience with programming languages such as SOQL, JavaScript, HTML, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and CSS. experience with batch data and real-time stream processing on the Salesforce platform.
- Experience with Application Development & Configuration including Lightning App Builder, Flows, Validations rules, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. e. Experienced in developing UI pages using the LWC framework.
- Experience with Salesforce API integration for applications residing on various platforms.
Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware, and other integration tools.
- Platform Developer I Certification is must
- Preferred Skills: a. Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD)
- Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint
- Experience with SFDC specific IDE and version control configurations (Github, BitBucket) for Salesforce development (VS Code, IntelliJ, SFDX)
- Experience with accessibility laws and WCAG 2.1 compliance.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn plus Excellent written/verbal communication & documentation skills.
- Experience related to K-12 education/curriculum standards would be a plus.
- Experience with cloud solutions/technologies, specifically AWS, is also a plus.
- Ability to adjust to changing situations to address emergencies, program changes, or production requirements.
