SAP Manufacturing BA / Functional Consultant
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
Engage with business users and stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
Translate business needs into technical specifications for SAP enhancements.
Conduct workshops to map current processes and identify areas for improvement.
Configure SAP Manufacturing modules (e.g., SAP PP, MM, QM) to meet specific manufacturing process requirements.
Customize SAP functionalities to streamline manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Ensure configurations support integration with other SAP modules, such as Sales & Distribution (SD), Finance (FI/CO), and Warehouse Management (WM).
Design SAP solutions that optimize manufacturing workflows, data tracking, and inventory management.
Lead or participate in SAP implementation, rollout, and upgrade projects specific to manufacturing operations.
Define testing strategies, conduct system and user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure solution quality before deployment.
Analyze manufacturing KPIs, SAP reports, and data insights to identify areas for improvement.
Implement SAP best practices and suggest process improvements to streamline workflows, reduce cycle times, and enhance quality.
Stay updated on new SAP releases and features, recommending upgrades or enhancements to support business goals.
Develop and maintain documentation for SAP configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Create training materials, manuals, and job aids for end-users to ensure consistent and effective use of SAP systems.
Conduct training sessions and act as an internal resource for SAP knowledge on manufacturing processes.
The SAP Manufacturing Business Analyst supports manufacturing and production operations by analyzing business processes, identifying SAP solutions, and implementing improvements within SAP Manufacturing modules (such as SAP PP, MM, QM, or PM). The role involves collaborating closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and end-users to ensure that SAP solutions meet operational requirements, improve efficiency, and support overall business objectives.
