Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled Scrum Master to guide teams through an Agile transformation initiative. In this role, you will play a key part in fostering a culture of collaboration, agility, and continuous improvement while aligning with organizational goals.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams, Product Owners, and leadership to ensure the successful adoption and execution of Agile practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agile Facilitation:
    • Serve as a servant-leader for Agile teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies (e.g., Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives).
    • Promote team self-organization, accountability, and ownership.
  • Transformation Support:
    • Act as a change agent to foster Agile adoption across the organization.
    • Collaborate with leadership to align team activities with organizational transformation goals.
    • Identify and address challenges to Agile adoption, including resistance to change.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Facilitate the identification and implementation of process improvements.
    • Monitor team performance using metrics (e.g., velocity, cycle time) to drive insights and optimization.
  • Impediment Removal:
    • Proactively identify and remove obstacles to team progress.
    • Escalate issues that cannot be resolved at the team level.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Act as a liaison between teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables.
    • Provide transparent updates on team progress, risks, and achievements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification; advanced certifications (e.g., SAFe Scrum Master, PMI-ACP) are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in organizations undergoing Agile transformations.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and principles.
  • Exceptional facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence without authority and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
  • Familiarity with scaled Agile environments and organizational change management is preferred.
