Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Hardware Test Engineer to lead validation activities for new development and sustain telecommunication products like routers and switches. This role involves defining and developing test plans, conducting compliance testing, leading problem-solving efforts to meet product standards, and maintaining accurate documentation to achieve product certifications.

Hard Skills

• experience driving validation testing for new hardware
• experience performing physical layer testing for telecommunication hardware or similar embedded system
• experience using hardware lab equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal analyzers to test signals

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in San Jose, California.

Work Environment

The position is onsite, based in San Jose, Monday through Friday in an engineering lab setting. The work schedule offers flexibility with start times (e.g., starting at 8am or 10am), with an expectation of an 8-hour workday. You will be part of a dynamic team of 17 members, including 8 consultants.

Performance Expectations

Performance is measured by the resources ability to get through training and complete assigned tasks on time. Additionally, they will be evaluating the quality of their work, team fit, overall contribution. The first two weeks on the job will focused on training to get them up to speed on the products / projects. The disqualifiers are resources without an engineering degree and poor communicatio
