Role Overview: We are looking for a strong candidate to fill the Allegro IT Lead role for the AMS project. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping client manage IT operations of their mission critical systems including ETRM and other wholesale applications, covering everything from incident management and release management to batch operations. The ideal candidate must exhibit strong technology leadership and industry knowledge in Commodity Trading, with a background in power, natural gas, coal, and nuclear commodities. Extensive experience or expertise in Allegro, including prior work in Allegro implementation or support, is essential. The role requires managing resources both onshore and offshore, working across different time zones. Additionally, the candidate must report to the client site and preferably be local to or willing to relocate to the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the overall IT operations of the client's Wholesale applications.
  • Manage incident and problem resolution processes.
  • Oversee end-of-day batch processes and ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Manage month/year-end activities and support critical business processes.
  • Manage on/off cycle releases and secure change management approvals.
  • Act as a business point of contact for any critical incidents.
  • Manage onshore and offshore day-to-day work.
  • Participate in audits and coordinate security patching activities.
  • Report status and metrics to Accenture and client leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Strong technology leadership and industry knowledge in Commodity Trading.
  • Background and experience in power, natural gas, coal, and nuclear commodities.
  • Extensive experience or expertise in Allegro implementation or support.
  • Ability to manage and resolve incidents and problems effectively.
  • Experience in managing batch operations and ensuring SLAs are met.
  • Proficiency in managing release cycles and change management processes.
  • Excellent communication skills to act as a business point of contact for critical incidents.
  • Experience in managing both onshore and offshore teams.
  • Ability to participate in audits and coordinate security patching activities.
  • Strong reporting skills to provide status and metrics to leadership.
