Role-Civil Engineer III - Encroachment CTH
This is an in the office role- not field work, not remote or Hybrid . Hours 7.30-5:00pm Mon-Thurs and 7.30-12.30 on Friday’s.

The right candidate will have 6-8 years (minimum) professional work experience including "utility coordination" experience associated with civil road construction.
The main objective for the Engineer will by the assessment of Encroachment related issues and communication to/from 3 rd Parties that present encroachments to the Company’s assets. To also provide support for the safe operation of Company’s pipeline facilities through the engineering evaluation (design review, stress calculations, etc.).
MUST HAVE Education/Experience
- BS or MS in Civil Engineering
- 6-8 years minimum professional work experience
- Utility coordination experience
- Excellent writing and communication skills are essential
- Must effectively communicate with internal and external stake holders
- Proven ability to write technical information using appropriate grammar, punctuation and spelling for concise reader-friendliness and clarity
- ​Proven ability to managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Preferred:
- State of Federal DOT experience is a plus
- Any oil & gas industry related to pipeline construction, facility engineering and/or pipeline integrity (is a plus)
- PE licensure in the State of Texas or ability to obtain PE licensure within 6 months of hire. PE licensure in other states that the firm is actively practicing may also be considered.
