Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in technology, finance, or a related field. Relevant work experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis.

- Minimum of 7 years in IT with at least 2-3 years of relevant architecture experience

- Advanced knowledge of master files, complex queries, and flat file structures.

- Experience with JCL job creation, editing, and scheduling.

- Strong problem-solving skills, including diagnosing and resolving technical issues.

- Proficiency in Tibco Mainframe Focus/WebFocus, JCL, and mainframe batch schedulers.

- Expertise in flat text file structures and data integration.

- Convert Mainframe FOCUS queries to T-SQL queries and modernize programs to use database tables instead of flat files.

- Experience with Cool GEN, COBOL, DB2 z/OS, and DB2 databases is a plus
