Role - Sr. Systems Engineer
Location: 128 West End Avenue, New York (On-Site 5 days a week).... Must be local !!
Skills -
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Information Technology) with a minimum of 8 years' experience in IT Support
- Active Directory\
- active monitoring of the entire infrastructure and troubleshoot server
- Application Servers
- design and implementation of VMware vSphere and Nutanix environments
- Hyper-V
- managed Nutanix clusters
- manage Operating Systems
- Workstations
- 2nd and 3rd-level technical support
- Ability to intrepid, modify and write scripts and SQL queries
- analysis of cyber activity / threats
- Experience with Splunk
- Failover Manager administration with clustering VMware
- Nutanix
- The successful candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of various computing platforms from servers, networks, storage including scripting experience for automation.
- Must have the ability to lift/transport server equipment when needed.
- Must be able to provide off-hour, on-call support for workstation, server and other system related issues that requires travel to various supported sites.
- Must be willing and able to work overtime and be flexible with work hours to respond to emergencies or scheduled work that must be done either prior to or after normal business hours.
- Must have the means and be able to travel to various Company locations.
