Job Title - Infrastructure System Engineer II
Position Summary
The Infrastructure System Engineer II will specialize in Operational Technology (OT) Process Control Network (PCN) systems. The role is responsible for maintaining critical PCN systems, ensuring cybersecurity adherence, and supporting the deployment and operational maintenance of network and workstation/server/storage technologies. This position collaborates with PCN Administrators, Process Control, I&E teams, and vendors to enhance system reliability and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, implement, and maintain PCN/OT network solutions and infrastructure.
- Design, configure, deploy, and maintain network, server, and storage technologies to ensure secure and reliable operations.
- Collaborate with various teams to implement changes within PCN, PLC, and SCADA environments.
- Provide technical support for system administration, including cybersecurity standards, asset inventory, risk compliance, and software/license management.
- Support new projects and lifecycle operations of existing systems.
- Conduct troubleshooting and provide operational support for LAN/WAN infrastructure in PCN/DMZ environments.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience with LAN/WAN infrastructure in PCN/DMZ networks and understanding of the Purdue Model.
- Expertise in deploying and managing Microsoft Windows 2012R2/2016/2019 servers in physical and virtual environments.
- Hands-on experience with VMware ESX Server, Virtual Center, and Cisco Hyperflex or other hyper-converged platforms.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, IP, DHCP, DNS, WINS, and GPO management.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on issue resolution.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree (or higher) in technology or related business discipline.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Windows Server, Azure, CCNA, or PCNSA.
- Knowledge of RF infrastructure (MW, WiFi, cellular, DAS, LoRaWAN, etc.).
- Experience with Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS), scripting/automation tools (PowerShell, Ansible, Python), and cloud services (Azure).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, SAFe framework, and tools like Microsoft ADO or VSTS.
