Senior Systems Analyst

This position will work as a part of an integrated team providing direct technical assistance to key business users and technical projects at varying levels of complexity.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Participates on company-wide projects for rollouts of software installations/upgrades for applications/operating systems and performs system integration testing.
  • Assists in planning, designing, evaluating, implementing, and monitoring of various applications or systems.
  • Consults with customers to ascertain needs, identify problems, applying business expertise/technical knowledge to design, and/or create information solutions to ensure satisfaction with delivered services.
  • Designs and documents systems/application models for customers and reviews with team members to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Provides operational/functional support for systems and troubleshoots/resolves problems.
  • Acquires and utilizes business knowledge by taking advantage of available resources (Internet, books, periodicals, classes/workshops, conferences, etc.) to develop and foster value driven business solutions.
  • Provides technical training and mentoring to promote competency and growth.
  • Participate in monthly Maintenance Window rotation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years of related industry or technical experience is required.
  • Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS), or Management Information Systems (MIS) degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience designing, developing, integrating, and supporting enterprise class commercial applications is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience with Java is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience with OpenLink Endur is preferred.
  • 1+ years of knowledge and experience with JVS scripting and Crystal Report development and support experience is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Technology specific to application development and support is preferred.
