Lead Software Engineer - HR Applications (Workday)

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer with strong expertise in Workday to provide technical guidance, implement best practices, and drive process improvements across HR applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Development: Evaluate, design, develop, and test software customizations, integrations, and extensions to meet business needs.
  • Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to assess system feasibility and clarify objectives.
  • System Improvement: Analyze current technology, recommend enhancements, and develop specifications for proposed solutions.
  • Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers, lead small-to-medium projects, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Support: Provide deep technical support for HRIS applications during business hours and as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years in software development with hands-on Workday expertise.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Studio, EIB, Java, XML, XSLT, Web Services (SOAP, REST), APIs, and security protocols.
  • Workday Modules: HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Recruiting, Compensation, and Talent Management.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, project methodologies, and system testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
