Question 1

What is the difference between offshore, remote, and onsite hiring at ACE?

Accepted Answer

Offshore, remote, and onsite are the three ways to hire engineers through ACE Technologies, and they differ mainly in where the engineer works and what you save. Offshore hiring means dedicated engineers work from our delivery centers with overlapping hours to your time zone, saving you up to 70% on hiring cost. Remote hiring means engineers work independently from their own location, matched to your preferred hours, saving up to 40%. Onsite hiring places engineers directly in your office, with visa, relocation, and logistics support handled by ACE, at market-rate cost.

Question 2

Which hiring model is right for my business?

Accepted Answer

The right model depends on your budget, speed, and how closely your team needs to work together. Startups and teams scaling quickly on a budget usually choose Offshore for the biggest savings and the fastest start. Growing SMBs that already have a core team often choose Remote or Offshore to add specialists without a large fixed cost. Enterprises and regulated industries that need on-site control often combine Onsite with Offshore for scale. If you're unsure, book a discovery call and we'll recommend a model based on your roles, timeline, and budget.

Question 3

How does the 14-day free trial work?

Accepted Answer

The 14-day free trial lets you work with a pre-vetted offshore engineer on real tasks before you commit to anything. You tell us the roles and skills you need, review 3 to 5 vetted profiles within 48 hours, select an engineer, and start working together for 14 days at no cost. At the end of the trial you can continue the engagement, ask for a different engineer, or walk away with no lock-in. Submit the form on this page to start your trial.

Question 4

How much can I save with each model?

Accepted Answer

Offshore hiring saves up to 70% on hiring cost compared with hiring locally, remote hiring saves up to 40%, and onsite hiring is priced at market rate because the engineer works at your location. Pricing for each model is a transparent flat monthly rate per engineer that covers salary, hardware, benefits, payroll, HR management, and success support, with no recruitment fees or hidden onboarding charges. The exact rate depends on the engineer's skills, seniority, and the model you choose, and we share a detailed quote after your discovery call.

Question 5

Can I combine offshore, remote, and onsite engineers on one team?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can mix models on a single project or team, and many clients do. A common setup is a small onsite team that works directly with your stakeholders, supported by offshore engineers who handle development and delivery at a lower cost. You can also add remote specialists for short-term needs. Because engagements are flexible, you can start with one model and shift the balance as your project grows.

Question 6

How quickly can engineers start, and how do time zones work?

Accepted Answer

Most clients receive 3 to 5 vetted engineer profiles within 48 hours of their discovery call, and a selected engineer can be onboarded shortly after. Offshore and remote engineers work in your preferred time zone with a minimum 4-hour overlap with your team's business hours, whether you're in the US, UK, EU, Australia, or Asia, so they can join your standups, reviews, and sprint ceremonies live. Onsite engineers follow your office schedule, and visa and logistics timelines may add lead time.

Question 7

Is there a long-term contract, and can I scale up or down?

Accepted Answer

No, ACE engagements run on flexible monthly terms with no long-term lock-in. You can add engineers, reduce your team, or replace an engineer with 30 days' notice. Every engagement is backed by our 30-Day Fit Guarantee, so if an engineer isn't the right match in the first 30 days, we'll replace them at no additional cost. You can also move between offshore, remote, and onsite models as your needs change.
