Question 1

How much does it cost to hire an offshore Workday consultant through ACE Technologies?

Accepted Answer

Hiring an offshore Workday consultant through ACE Technologies typically costs 60-70% less than hiring locally in the US, UK, or EU, with transparent flat monthly pricing per consultant. Pricing covers the consultant's full salary, hardware, benefits, payroll, taxes, HR management, and success support — with no separate recruitment fees or onboarding charges. The exact rate depends on seniority (consultant, senior consultant, or solution architect), module specialization (HCM, Payroll, Financials, Recruiting, Adaptive Planning, integrations), and engagement model. We provide a detailed quote within 24 hours of your discovery call.

Question 2

How long does it take to hire a Workday consultant with ACE?

Accepted Answer

Most clients have a fully onboarded Workday consultant within 48 hours of their initial discovery call, thanks to our pre-vetted bench of Workday talent. The typical timeline is: Day 1 — discovery call and requirements mapping, within 24 hours — 3-5 shortlisted consultant profiles delivered, within 48 hours — interviews completed and consultant selected, Day 3 onward — consultant onboarded into your Workday tenant and team. For highly specialized roles (for example Workday Payroll for a specific country, Prism Analytics, or Extend development), matching can take up to 5 business days.

Question 3

How do you vet Workday consultants at ACE Technologies?

Accepted Answer

ACE vets every Workday consultant through a multi-stage process that includes certification and credential verification, a functional and technical skill assessment, a scenario-based interview on business process configuration and security, a real-world implementation or support project review, an English communication evaluation, and background verification. Depending on the role, we look for hands-on experience across full-cycle Workday implementations, and for relevant Workday Pro certifications in modules such as HCM, Payroll, Financials, Recruiting, or Adaptive Planning. Every profile shared with you includes verified skill scores, project history, and reference checks.

Question 4

What Workday modules and technical skills do your consultants cover?

Accepted Answer

ACE's Workday consultants cover the core Workday suite, including Human Capital Management (HCM), Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking, Benefits, Talent and Learning, Recruiting, Financial Management, and Adaptive Planning. On the technical side, they build and support integrations using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services, and create custom reports and calculated fields with Report Writer. They also work with Prism Analytics and Workday Extend, and handle business process configuration, security group setup, data conversion, tenant setup, and regression testing for each Workday release.

Question 5

Can I hire a Workday consultant for a short-term project or only full-time?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can hire Workday consultants at ACE on flexible monthly contracts with no long-term lock-in. Short-term engagements (1-3 months) suit module rollouts, data migrations, and release testing, medium-term engagements (3-12 months) suit full implementation or optimization projects, and long-term engagements (12+ months) suit ongoing production support and building an extended Workday team. Depending on your needs, we also offer Project Staffing, Build-Operate-Transfer, Hire-Train-Deploy, and Rate Card models. You can scale up, scale down, or replace consultants with 30 days' notice.

Question 6

What time zones do ACE offshore Workday consultants work in?

Accepted Answer

ACE offshore Workday consultants work in your preferred time zone with a minimum 4-hour overlap with your team's business hours, whether your team is in the US (PST/EST), UK (GMT), EU (CET), Australia (AEST), or Asia. They join your standups, design workshops, configuration reviews, and user acceptance testing sessions during your working hours. For time-critical events such as payroll parallel testing, go-live cutovers, or each twice-yearly Workday release window, we can extend coverage or structure follow-the-sun support across regions.

Question 7

How do you keep our Workday tenant and employee data secure?

Accepted Answer

Every ACE Workday consultant signs a comprehensive NDA and IP assignment agreement before the engagement begins, with all work product assigned 100% to your company. Consultants access your tenant through role-based security groups with least-privilege access, work in your sandbox or implementation tenant first, and never receive production access to sensitive HR or payroll data unless you approve it. Engineer devices use endpoint encryption and VPN-only access, staff are background-verified, and we can sign custom DPAs or client-specific security addendums on request to support GDPR and other data-privacy requirements.

Question 8

What happens if my Workday consultant isn't the right fit?

Accepted Answer

If your Workday consultant isn't the right fit within the first 30 days, ACE will replace them at no additional cost under our 30-Day Fit Guarantee. Simply notify your dedicated success manager, and we'll shortlist replacement candidates within 3-5 business days, with a knowledge-transfer handover so your project timeline keeps moving. If you'd rather end the engagement entirely, you'll receive a refund for any unused portion of the month.
